How do I know what size self storage unit I need?
You can print off the 'space estimator' from the
self storage
units page of our website to help you ascertain
the cubic volume of your furniture, give us a
call so we can discuss your storage needs, or
better still, pop in to our storage centre during
office hours so we can show you around and look
at some of the storage unit sizes we have available.
Can you pick up my goods?
We recommend using our in-house removalist, Barnetts
Furniture Transport for a professional relocation
experience as they will treat your possessions
with the utmost of care.
Are my goods insured whilst
in storage?
Goods placed in storage are the sole responsibility
of you, their owner. To ensure piece of mind,
AHSC can arrange hassle-free 'on the spot' insurance
for you through Midland Insurance Brokers at a
very competitive price. Alternatively, you can
contact your current insurer to discuss your requirements
with them.
What about fumigation?
We take preventative fumigation measures to protect
your valuable assets from nasty pest damage. Each
storage unit has naphthalene flakes present and
each quarter we have an eco-friendly pest management
company come in and spray for spiders & report
on the rodent pest stations we have in the facility.
There is a one-off fumigation
fee payable at move-in for storage units.
Can I change to a different
sized storage unit?
Yes, if your needs change you can upgrade to a
larger unit or downsize to a smaller unit at any
time.
How do I terminate my storage
agreement?
To terminate a storage agreement you must give
7 days notice in writing. You can terminate your
storage agreement at any time after the one month
minimum period has passed. Any unused rental that
has been paid in advance will be refunded to you
along with your deposit on termination day once
the unit or site has been vacated.
